Ralph Moeller said, a role in the Hobbit was offered to him. He was asked to play a wolfman, but he hasn't been signed yet.
Such a creature doesn't exist in the Hobbit. Maybe an Ork or Beorn was meant. _________________ Sic hobbitur ad astra |

Please not him!!!
He is excactly the type of person, I do not want to see in the hobbit. Not even as an Orc.
Why not choosing great actors like Jean Claude van Damme as Elrond, Steven Seagal as Thorin, Chuck Norris as Gandalf or Dolph Lundgren as Bilbo? _________________ Scientia potentia est |

There were a lot of actors like him who played parts like orcs and wraiths and such. It doesn't take much skill to act in stuff like that.
This is a good sign though, if it is true and someone was already offered a part it means more casting might get underway soon! You would think they would by now, if they film next year... you need to get everyone's schedule cleared. _________________ Facebook

My first inclination was that he must have meant a warg, since that matches a wolfman closest? But I seriously doubt that they would cast a human as a warg.
But, now that being said, perhaps it wouldn't be suck a bad thing if he was cast as a warg. Wouldn't it be funny to see gandalf throwing fire-lit pine cones at him? Maybe he'll be one that catches completely on fire and runs around in circles yelping until he burns to a crisp. |

It probally won't be Beorn.I am betting Doug Jones Is playing Beorn.
He,and Ron Pearlman are prime candiates for roles In this film.
And my guess Is Pearlman will probally be voicing Smaug.Although any role for him Is fine by me. |

I think Ron Pearlman is better for Beorn thatn Doug Jones...

Dog Jones would need a lot of makeup and added bulk to play the part of a bear man. I'm sure they could pull it off, but it would a lot of cosmetic work before he looked the part. _________________ Facebook

I'm sure it would look cool if they did it that way. It's not like the faun in Pan's Labyrinth was a scrawny character and Doug Jones played that. _________________ Facebook
