Nice find
| Quote: | | I think I will be in the film |
That's the interesting part:
| Quote: | | The first film will be released in 2011 and the second in 2012. The first is The Hobbit, and the second connects the story to the [sequel] Lord Of The Rings, it brings it all together. |
That's one year later than stated before. _________________ Sic hobbitur ad astra |

Yeah - after the exuberance caused by the initial press release... hm... the lack of definite information is rather depressing. Over at that Hobbit Movie it's been quiet ever since.
Really, it's time *someone* starts *something, somehow*... I can't take the tension (or lack therof?) much longer |

I really hope the SGA doesn't go on strike and put this off even longer. They ought to make a feature-length documentary on the War of the Hobbit, or something like that, on how it was such a hard movie to get off the ground.
I guess, other movies struggled more, and for much longer. Superman Returns, Indiana Jones 4, even the Lord of the Rings trilogy had a rough takeoff. _________________ My Facebook

I'm so glad, without Ian their would be no continuity from the Lord of the Rings movies _________________ Check out Hobbit Central and Journey of the Ring |

Gandalf in The Hobbit movie would not be Gandalf without Sir Ian. Hail and well met, my friend!

| I am glad and very relieved about this news. It will keep continuity in the series of movies all around. Let's hope they make some more good casting decisions soon! |

I concur, many different characters can be altered a bit, but having the same Gandalf is very important, and would be a catastrophy if by any chance he couldn't play the part in the upcoming movie. Sir Ian IS Gandalf in my mind, by part in the movie and in my imagination when reading the books, I couldn't imagine anyone differently now! |
