Liv Tyler (Arwen) and Viggo Mortenson (Aragorn) are kind of celebrities, so I'm sure fans would want to see more of them in this movie... I think I would, What do you all think?
presumably during this time Aragorn would be lodging at Rivendell as a ranger... so it's quite conceivable that they would have them in... but would it just be a love story?... or could they do more with them? _________________ See my new blog here |

First time poster...
If my memory is correct, there is about 60 years between the hobbit and the Fellowship (or perhaps 60 years between the time Gandalf is alerted about the ring, searches for gollum, and then returns to Bilbo?). Jackson's Aragorn was 87 years old in the second movie, so he would be rather young in the first movie.
My guess is they will be peripheral characters in the background in the first movie (possibly no close up of Aragorn at all), with Arwen possibly having a larger role as it pertains to the life of the elves and Elrond's children. In the transition movie, it will be reversed. Aragorn will be a major character, with Arwen having a very limited part. I would guess any love story between them will be downplayed. It has already been done, and the mood with the elves is different, so any romance scenes in Rivendell would be more playful and lighthearted.

Aragorn was ten years old when bilbo was having a break, in rivendell, on his trip to the lonley mountain. At this age he did not even know Arwen.
So i think there is only a chance seeing them in the second movie. _________________ Scientia potentia est |

He was only 10? O I thought he was a bit older than that! So probably a bit of Arwen, but not much of Aragorn. _________________ See my new blog here |

... he saw her dancing on meadow in the forests around rivendell, thought it was Luthien and called her Tinuviel, like Beren did in the first age. _________________ Scientia potentia est |

| Liv Tyler IS A BABE!! lol. She kind of talks like she's out of it when she talks though. Aragorn and Arwen are a HUGE HUGE HUGE part of the Lord of the Rings how Jackson made it. It would be a bad bad deal if they COMPLETELY let them out (I Think). |

I think it's a stupid idea to have these actors in the hobbit, in the book aragorn and arwen were not present, so they shouldn't be in the movie _________________ Death is just another path... One that we all must take.

Yeah I don't think they need to be in there. It's nice to see more stuff, but that doesn't mean it belongs in the film. _________________ Maegnas is my name, I am the spiders bane
