Jackson said they may have to push back filming from March 2010 to some time in the summer. Plus, they haven't received green light yet.

It was 2011 anyway, maybe they can still keep this plan.

It's not a big delay. I can live with this.

The thing I want is the green light...
because before that there is a chance that the film wont happen -.-
At this point the chance is small that that the film is not going to happen, but the chance is still there Sad

I don't like delays, but I, like screams, can live with this.

There's news that it might be released in 2012. I'm a lot happier with this date, now that I think about it, because there's more time for perfection and advice from PJ. I think the only thing I'm mad about is the cast. Lol. Because I'm super impatient. But since the filming starts next year, and with the new year coming up soon, I'm sure we'll see some castings!

And this also gives them time to complete more drafts for the scripts and perfect it, which is utterly fantastic. It gives me hope this film will be superb.

I think if they were given 2 years for production with a book to write off of and a first draft already completed then they can pull it off quite meticulously unsound. Especially if Peter Jackson, Fran Walsh, Phillipa Boyens and Del Toro are writing the script and are getting along with ideas quite fine, which Peter Jackson has said. Guillermo and Peter are almost alike from accounts of themselves and others. We're talking about two award winning film-makers, who are exalted for outstanding screenwriting and vision. Peter hasn't written a great script without Fran and Phillipa. It's such a great mix because they get along swell. It's going to make the film better and more perfected if they have more time, not destroyed.

Terrible.....
New Line Cinema squandered their money......thats probably closer to the truth than creative delays.......
