| July is good, just wish they would keep on schedule. I mean, 2012 is a long way to go. |

Well that's.....EXCITING!!!!!!!!!!!
I was just imagining Ian McKellen's Gandalf in The Hobbit. I'm stoked. _________________ Maegnas is my name, I am the spiders bane

Taking their time is one thing... but planning to shoot a movie without a star is another. If they have someone for the part now and are planning to get the greenlight before they announce him that's ok, but I don't want any rushed last minute decisions. _________________ Facebook

We know they have been casting for some time now (at least the rumors says so) and I think they know what they're doing |

I wonder if in preproduction they've discovered the White Council won't work? I wouldn't be surprised. That could explain any delays... _________________ " Me go dragon-hunting? In my leggings and waistcoat?" |

Funny how that topic gets brought up in every thread. _________________ Facebook

It is, but it's an important topic, at least based on what we know of the film so far...
I want them to include Dol Goldur in the film because it could bring some awesome LotR-feel back on the screen. The Hobbit could have the storylike feel and at the same time having the Dol Goldur story go alongside the Hobbit story.
But of course, if not done well this could destroy the whole film...
So I would either see a good Hobbit film without it, than a bad one with it...
But if they can make it fit I really hope they will (at least for some extended version-thingy) |

I think even if it is a good topic it shouldn't be in every topic. It's what new topics are for... if all of them were the same it would be a very unorganized forum. _________________ Facebook

What the... does MGM have anything to do with this?
Isn't the film supposed to be released under New Line Cinema? |
